We’re now looking for Finance Officers to join our Central Business Support team — a role where your finance and admin expertise helps ensure services run smoothly for those who need them most.

About You And Your New Opportunity

In this varied and hands-on role, you’ll be a key support to our Home Care Central Support team in Finance, helping keep things running smoothly across both financial and administrative areas.

Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you’ll play an important role in supporting billing, reporting, client accounts and compliance, while building strong relationships and delivering great service to internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll enjoy a mix of responsibilities, including:

Processing funding claims, invoices, and accounts receivable/payableManaging client billing and maintaining accurate account recordsSupporting resident/client admissions, discharges and refundsAssisting with reconciliations and financial reportingResponding to client and internal enquiries with professionalism and careSupporting monthly and annual reporting through data analysis and collationEnsuring processes align with legislation and organisational proceduresContributing to continuous improvement across systems and services

Government funding and compliance requirementsRegulatory government claiming, financial reconciliation and budget reportingGovernment portals (e.g. PRODA, Medicare, My Aged Care) and systems such as Sandwai and D365Handle escalated account queries, complex funding disputes or det collectionCompliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, funding rules and external audits

What You Will Bring To Our Team

You’re someone who helps to keep things running smoothly in a team delivering essential services and enjoys balancing detail with purpose.

You’ll Bring

A Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or a related fieldWell-rounded experience in finance administration (including accounts payable and receivable) and business supportComfortable and confident working across the full MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Great communication skills and a customer-focused mindsetA keen eye for detail with a practical, solutions-focused approachThe ability to adapt and work effectively in a changing environment

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

Experience in aged care or home careExposure to not-for-profit environments
