Position Summary

We are seeking a Full Time Trade Assistant, reporting to the Fabrication Team Leader and Operations Manager to assist our fabrication

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

Read blueprints and engineering drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and proceduresCompleting Cutting Lists and preparation of materials for fabricationBuilding of sub-components to support fabrication teamBasic Pressure TestingOxygen Cleaning PartsWorkshop Clean-up tasksMaintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safetyWork within a fabrication team and take direction from team leader as required

Holds current drivers licence and can drive a manual (Desirable)Holds a current forklift licence (Desirable)Punctual, reliable and hardworkingHigh attention to detailExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)Proven history within a logistics/warehouse environment will be highly regarded
