About the role
THE ROLE
The Equality Policy team works across the department and the broader Victorian government and with key stakeholders to develop and deliver high quality strategic advice and support with a focus on the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and gender diverse, intersex and queer (LGBTIQA+) communities.
As a Senior Policy Officer in the Equality Policy team you will work across a variety of areas in policy development and support of the Equality portfolio. This role may include providing LGBTIQA
The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a good understanding of government processes and an ability to work in a complex, sensitive and fast paced environment, and demonstrate strong policy, analytical and communication skills coupled with an ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively in a team environment.
