NIGHT SHIFT Disability Support Worker

Are you a Disability Support Worker looking for PERMANENT Part Time or Full Time work on Night Shifts?

Hills Housing & Disability Services (HHDS) seeks qualified and experienced Disability Support workers for NIGHT SHIFT across a 7 day schedule. The shift times can extend beyond, but are commonly 6pm to 6am or 7am, including passive sleepover. Houses are located in Adelaide Hills.

Purpose

Provide quality, flexible and customised care. Support our clients to maintain their wellbeing, and work towards agreed outcomes.

·         personal care, health and well-being, meal preparation

·         maintain client records, data collection and reports in a professional manner

·         additional duties as directed

Mandatory criteria

·         The legal right to work in Australia

·         An understanding and commitment to the rights of people living with a disability

·        Comply with the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 and the NDIS Code of Conduct Rules 2018

·        Manual handling: lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling and repetitive actions

·        Effective communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills

·        DHS Clearance for Working with Children

·        NDIS Worker Screening

·        Cert III Individual Support (Disability) or similar field, or higher qualification

·        Certificates from training.ndiscommission.gov.au, plus Medication, Manual Handling, Infection Control
