Food & Beverage Attendant

Are you passionate about providing exceptional hospitality experiences? Melrose Events is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Attendant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction of our guests during a variety of events.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.

• Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages in accordance with Melrose Events' standards and procedures, including taking orders, serving meals, and handling transactions.

• Set-Up and Clean-Up: Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the event.

• Product Knowledge: Acquire a thorough understanding of the menu offerings and be able to provide recommendations and information to guests as needed.

• Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times, following proper sanitation and hygiene protocols in accordance with health regulations.

• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members and departments to ensure seamless execution of events and provide support as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food and beverage service, hospitality, or a related field preferred. Must be available to work weekends, late nights and holidays.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

• Attention to detail and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification required or willingness to obtain.
