As the Senior Manager - Assessing & Supply Chain, you will provide strategic leadership across assessing and supplier performance to deliver sustainable claims costs, quality repair outcomes and exceptional customer experiences. Working closely with internal stakeholders, repair networks and service providers, you will drive operational excellence, supplier performance and continuous improvement across the claims supply chain.

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Leading assessing and supplier performance across GT Insurance's portfolios, focusing on claims cost, repair quality, leakage management, customer experience and claims cycle times.
• Developing and implementing cost control strategies that deliver sustainable claims outcomes while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance on complex claims, assessment quality, repair methodologies and escalated matters.
• Monitoring and analysing assessor, repairer and supplier performance through operational metrics, file reviews, customer feedback and commercial outcomes.
• Managing strategic relationships with repairers, assessors and service providers, including performance reviews, negotiations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Driving supplier governance, accountability and performance frameworks across the repair and assessing network.
• Identifying opportunities to improve assessment processes, digital capabilities, sustainability initiatives and supply chain performance.
• Partnering with Allianz and GT stakeholders to support portfolio performance, risk management, governance and customer outcomes.
• Providing leadership, coaching and technical support to build capability and consistency across claims operations.
• Supporting the delivery of strategic business initiatives, operational improvements and organisational objectives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Significant experience within motor insurance assessing, motor claims, repair management, supply chain management or a related field.
• Relevant trade qualifications and post-apprenticeship experience as a panel beater, spray painter or motor mechanic, and/or extensive motor insurance assessing experience.
• Strong knowledge of the motor repair industry, including repair techniques, materials, equipment and industry standards.
• Sound understanding of motor insurance practices, claims management processes and relevant industry codes and regulations.
• Demonstrated experience leading specialist teams, supplier networks or geographically dispersed stakeholders.
• Proven success managing strategic partnerships, supplier performance and commercial negotiations.
• Strong leadership, coaching and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to improve performance and decision-making.
• Experience working in complex operational environments and delivering pragmatic, commercially focused outcomes.
• A current driver's licence.
• Relevant industry qualifications such as ANZIIF or equivalent will be highly regarded.
