Aged Care Support Worker

Join our dedicated team as an Aged Care Support Worker in Woollahra. You will provide compassionate care and support to elderly clients, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well-being to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in clients’ conditions.
• Support clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Ensure a safe and clean-living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.

Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification (desirable)
• Previous experience in aged care or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient attitude towards elderly clients.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is desirable.
• Current National Police Check
