Customer Service Officer

Border Express currently has exciting opportunities available for an experienced and motivated Customer Service Officer to join the team at our Underwood Branch. 

Duties:

• Actioning customer inquiries promptly and responding with professionalism across all channels: email, webforms, chats and phone calls

• Providing a high level of service and communication to key internal and external stakeholders;

• Proficiently raising queries in the internal ticketing system (training will be provided) and carrying out investigations in order to provide accurate and timely responses to our customers

• Providing proactive customer delivery status reporting

Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated ability to assist customers with queries in a timely and efficient manner;

• Excellent telephone manner;

• Ability to learn and work within multiple software systems and multitask seamlessly between tasks like handling high priority tickets, answering calls and compiling reports

• Transport, logistics or high volume customer service experience is highly desirable;

• Well-developed time management, communication and conflict resolution skills;

• Initiative, drive and a willingness to be an active member of the team;

• Strong written, verbal and listening skills are essential;

• Demonstrated ability to develop positive and professional working relationships with customers

• Strong attention to detail.
