Project Manager – Industrial

Synergie Australia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a key industrial recommissioning project

Synergie Australia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a key industrial recommissioning project alongside a number of smaller capital and site improvement projects in Darwin.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience across industrial, processing, manufacturing, waste or heavy operational environments, with responsibility for projects from planning through to commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of capital, recommissioning and improvement projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones and priorities.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, materials and site resources.
• Manage project scope, variations, budgets and forecast costs.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, civil and operational workstreams.
• Ensure contractor documentation, SWMS/JSEAs, permits, isolations and LOTO requirements are compliant.
• Manage project risks, issues and actions.
• Work closely with Operations, HSE, Engineering, Procurement and external contractors.
• Support commissioning, safety reviews, operational handover and project close-out.
• Provide regular reporting across progress, costs, risks and upcoming milestones.

We're looking for someone with:

• Previous Project Management experience within an industrial or heavy operational environment.
• Experience delivering brownfield capital or plant improvement projects.
• Strong contractor and vendor management skills.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, variations and project risks.
• Understanding of permits, isolations, LOTO and contractor safety requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and White Card.
• Relevant Engineering, Construction or Project Management qualifications, or equivalent industry experience.

A mechanical or process engineering background would be highly regarded, as would experience across electrical, automation, plant commissioning or recommissioning projects.
