The Role

The Insurance Commission is seeking to establish a register of  applicants for contract opportunities available across a range of positions for up to twelve months.

These positions include (but are not limited to):

• Personal Injury Claims Officers.
• Business Services Officers.
• People and Culture roles including recruitment and administration.
• Information Technology roles including Software Engineers & Network Engineers. 
• Care Services Coordinator roles

The Insurance Commission is a State owned Government Trading Enterprise that provides motor injury insurance to 2.7 million Western Australian motorists and manages the self-insurance arrangements of the Western Australian Government.

The Insurance Commission generated $1.4 billion in revenue over six months to 31 December 2025 and holds nearly $9.7 billion in assets, making it a major selffunded statutory authority.

Please note that if you are interested in permanent positions, you will need to apply separately for vacancies advertised at jobs.wa.gov.au.

Appointment Information

Any offer of employment is conditional upon the satisfactory completion of pre-employment screening.   This includes an Australian Criminal History Check, Entitlement to Work in Australia Check and Verification of Qualification/s (if applicable).  Additional role specific checks may also be required (i.e. Working with Children check).
