The Role
Ridge View SC is seeking a dynamic, innovative and experienced Program Coordinator – Student Wellbeing and Engagement (SWAE) to provide strategic and operational leadership within our Student Wellbeing and Engagement team. The successful applicant will ideally have a comprehensive understanding of Department of Education policy and procedures relating to student wellbeing, engagement, attendance, behaviour and Students at Educational Risk, together with the leadership capability to translate these into effective and consistent practice across the College.
Working collaboratively with the College Leadership Team, the other SWAE Program Coordinators and our Year Coordinators, you will play a key role in leading and strengthening our SWAE structures. You should use student data to identify emerging trends and lead targeted, evidence-informed interventions, while demonstrating highly developed complex case management skills and the ability to build positive partnerships with students, families, staff and external agencies. As an approachable and visible leader, you would also build staff capability through professional dialogue, coaching and guidance, supporting consistent restorative, trauma-informed and relationship-focused approaches to student wellbeing, behaviour and engagement. An understanding of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), and the capacity to support its effective integration across the College, will also be highly regarded.
As Ridge View SC continues to implement the recommendations arising from its recent SWAE review, you will be an inclusive, collaborative and solutions-focused leader who will help embed, evaluate and continually improve our SWAE processes. You would lead by example, motivate and develop others, and contribute to a connected and responsive approach that reflects our College values and ensures every student feels known, valued, connected and supported to succeed.
This position has the potential to commence Term 4, 2026, subject to the availability of the successful applicant.
