IRS Pty Ltd is a leading distributor / manufacturer of Rubber, Hardware, Tapes, and Sealants and has a large Australian based Gasket / cutting facilities Australia wide. Due to our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a motivated and bubbly individual to join our team at our Hallam, Melbourne, Victoria based distribution facility.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience within sales environment with good phone manners.

• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Able to use business accounting software systems, and the Microsoft suite of applications,

specifically Word, Excel and Outlook. familiarity with NetSuite would be an advantage.

• To be a highly motivated and reliable team member with excellent time management and organization skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Willingness to adopt and adhere to company values.

• Strong communication skills with a genuine interest in people.

• Commitment to continual improvement and learning.

Position Overview:

As an Internal Sales Representative, you will work under the guidance of our Hallam based Operations Manager. Your role will encompass various office tasks including answering phones, entering data, and assisting customers both over the phone and at our sales counter. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day office tasks, including answering phones and data entry.

• Assist customers in finding their needs and providing support at the sales counter or over the phone.

• Feel comfortable picking counter sales orders from within our warehouse.

• Assist our ''on road team'' with customer referrals, raising customer orders.

• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet customer expectations and uphold company values.
