Are you an experienced Work Health and Safety professional who is passionate about educating others, building strong relationships and fostering a genuine safety-first culture?
Tamworth Regional Council is seeking a proactive and collaborative Coordinator, Work Health & Safety to lead the operational delivery of WHS services across Council. Reporting to the Leader, Workplace Relations, you will lead a specialist team comprising three WHS Business Partners and an IMS Specialist, working closely with managers, supervisors and employees across Council’s diverse operations.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring our safety and integrated management systems are practical, understood and embedded into the way we work. Salary range: Grade 18 - $109,282.80 - $118,252.30 per annum plus 12% superannuation for a 35 hour work week and leaseback vehicle*. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
* It should be noted that an employee salary contribution is required for this motor vehicle.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
