The Canberra consulting market has changed. Government is applying greater scrutiny to role levels, rates, outcomes and value for money.Eolas has reviewed the market, including current Defence panel rates and the full cost of permanent employment. We have made a clear choice: to continue building a permanent workforce and give our people employment that extends beyond a individual client engagement.
We are looking for up to four people to join our team as soon as possible. This is not a talent pool or market-testing exercise. The work is confirmed, and we're recruiting for full-time employees. We’re looking for:
Defence Logistics Practitioners — Level 2 or 3. You have experience supporting Defence logistics, sustainment or capability activities. You can work with stakeholders, understand the operating context and turn complex issues into clear advice and usable outputs.
Defence Writer — Level 3. You have a strong Army background at the tactical and operational levels. You understand command intent and can turn complex material into clear plans, briefs, submissions and decision-support products.
Learning and Development Practitioners — Level 2 or 3. You have experience analysing learning needs, designing learning solutions and developing training products. You can work with subject-matter experts and translate their knowledge into learning that people can use.

Our indicative total remuneration packages for these positions range from $130,000 to $200,000, including superannuation, depending on the role, level and responsibilities.
