Administration Officer – Radiologist Workflow & Teleradiology – Evening & After Hours

Imaging Associates is seeking an organised, proactive and people‑focused administrator to play a pivotal role in supporting our Radiologists and keeping our Support Office running smoothly. This is a highly visible position where your ability to prioritise, problem‑solve and deliver exceptional service will make a meaningful impact every day.

You will provide high‑quality administrative and clerical support to the Radiologist team, ensuring workflow runs efficiently in a fast‑paced clinical environment. This includes managing internal and external calls, reviewing reporting requirements, prioritising cases with rostered Radiologists and liaising with hospitals to meet reporting timeframes. You will source and provide patient information as required, maintain accurate records in the RIS and troubleshoot issues such as image quality or reporting discrepancies to resolution.

Building strong, collaborative working relationships will be central to your success, as you partner closely with the Radiologist Workflow and Teleradiology teams and a range of internal and external stakeholders.

This role suits someone who enjoys contributing to continuous improvement, values teamwork and takes pride in being the go‑to person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll be comfortable balancing structure with flexibility, and confident supporting senior medical professionals in a dynamic, professional setting.

Working Pattern & Location

This means the role follows a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, covering Monday to Sunday. The roster rotates between evening and night shifts, so employees will alternate between these shift types across their working periods.

Working hours can vary between 4:00 pm–12:30 am and 11:30 pm – 8:00 am, subject to operational requirements. 

The position will initially be remote; however, candidates should be aware that the role is expected to transition back to on-site working at our Support Office in the future, in line with operational requirements.

• Previous administration experience in delivering high quality customer service with medical and/or health sector.

• Demonstrated ability to anticipate and proactively meet the professional needs of the Radiologist team.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with a process improvement mindset
• A positive and flexible approach with the ability to work under pressure at times
• Proficiency in in Microsoft Office suite of programs (knowledge of RIS and PACS software advantageous)
