Mechanic

​While formal qualifications aren't required, we are looking for someone who knows their way around a workshop and can hit the ground running with basic servicing on trucks and heavy machinery.

​The Role

​You will be responsible for maintaining our fleet and machinery to ensure everything runs smoothly. We value quality, efficiency, and a high standard of workplace organization.

​Your key responsibilities will include:

• ​Performing basic servicing on trucks and heavy machinery independently.

• ​Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workspace at all times.

• ​Sorting and categorizing tools and inventory to ensure workshop efficiency.

• ​Executing tasks with high-quality workmanship and speed.

• ​Following company policies, procedures, and safety expectations.

• ​Must be capable of performing routine maintenance tasks independently without supervision.

​What We're Looking For

• ​Mechanical Skill: Proven experience using basic hand and power tools with precision.

• ​Knowledge: At least a basic understanding of how trucks and heavy machinery operate.

• ​Independence: The ability to undertake routine service tasks without constant supervision.

• ​Character: You are trustworthy, knowledgeable, and a genuine team player.

• ​Physical Fitness: You are fit, healthy, and capable of the physical demands of a heavy machinery environment.

• ​Work Ethic: A proactive approach to organizing the workshop and managing inventory.

​Bonus Skills (Highly Regarded)

• ​Welding and fabrication experience.

• ​Advanced diagnostic or repair skills.

• ​Previous experience in a heavy-duty workshop environment.
