SALES REPRESENTATIVE – PRINT INDUSTRY

Optima Press, based in Balcatta, is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional with a strong understanding of the printing industry to develop new business, build lasting customer relationships and help grow our client base.

The Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Developing new business opportunities and generating sales

• Managing and growing an existing customer portfolio

• Building strong, long-term relationships with customers

• Identifying customer requirements and providing suitable print solutions

• Preparing and following up quotations

• Liaising with estimating, production and administration teams to ensure customer requirements are met

• Managing customer projects from initial enquiry through to completion

• Maintaining regular contact with customers and identifying opportunities for repeat business

• Achieving agreed sales targets and contributing to the continued growth of the business

• Keeping up to date with developments in printing, finishing and related services

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous sales experience within the printing industry

• A strong understanding of offset and digital printing

• Knowledge of print finishing processes and the ability to discuss print solutions with customers

• Proven ability to develop new business and maintain strong customer relationships

• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• A professional, confident and customer-focused approach

• The ability to work independently while being an effective team player

• A strong commercial understanding and a results-driven attitude

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple customer requirements

Experience with PrintIQ or other print industry software would be advantageous but is not essential.
