About the role
Looking to grow your leadership career in the early childhood sector?
Lady Gowrie Tasmania (LGT) is looking for experienced Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) educators and early childhood professionals to join our OSHC services in Hobart, Rosetta and Rokeby on a part-time basis. These roles are ideal for confident, experienced educators who are ready to take the next step in their early childhood career and grow into a team leader role. We are looking for individuals with strong leadership potential who are ready to build their capability within a supportive environment, with guidance and mentoring from experienced service managers.
We are a not-for-profit, community-based organisation providing education and care to children from birth to 12 years of age across Tasmania. Lady Gowrie Tasmania has a simple position statement – ‘Children First’ – and is committed to providing the highest quality education and care for children to give them the best start in life. We embrace the uniqueness of each child, family, and educator, and celebrate the diverse backgrounds, cultures, and experiences that enrich our community. Our practices are built on trust, open communication, and genuine collaboration with families, ensuring that every voice is welcomed and acknowledged. We foster an environment where children feel safe, supported, and empowered to express themselves, while educators model respect, empathy, and kindness.
