About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled, resilient, and self-motivated Motor Mechanic to join our family business. This position is strictly for an experienced professional who thrives under operational pressure, works fast, and takes pride in technical accuracy. Our workshop is busy, fast-paced, and physically demanding. If you want to be treated like a person rather than a number—but still want a challenging, high-volume workload—you will fit right in.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute advanced mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostics accurately.

• Perform complex engine overhauls, drivetrain repairs, and major component replacements.

• Manage high-volume daily workflows to meet uncompromising customer timeframes.

• Utilise modern scanning hardware and diagnostic software efficiently.

• Maintain flawless quality control and strict safety standards under pressure.

Skills and Experience Required

• Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).

• Proven Track Record: Minimum 1-2 years of post-apprenticeship experience in a busy workshop.

• Diagnostic Expertise: Advanced proficiency with scan tools and electrical fault-finding.

• Equipment: Possession of a comprehensive, professional inventory of hand and power tools.

• Licence: Current, valid Australian manual driver’s licence.

• Attributes: High physical stamina, absolute accountability, and a team-player attitude.
