Career Paralegal - Succession, Property & Commercial

Moss & Co Consulting is partnering with an established and growing professional services group to recruit an experienced Career Paralegal to join their legal team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal who genuinely loves what they do, someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being across the detail and thrives on keeping clients, lawyers and matters moving.

Working across Succession, Property and Commercial, you’ll play an integral role within the team and take genuine ownership of the day to day management and progression of files.

The Role
This is more than a traditional administrative support role. Working closely with senior lawyers and fee earners, you’ll be trusted to manage workflow and keep matters progressing from opening through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day progression and workflow of matters
• Opening and closing files
• Preparing scopes and pricing
• Coordinating billing instructions and managing billing
• Monitoring key dates, deadlines and next steps
• Following up with clients and proactively progressing matters
• Managing file administration and ensuring matters remain on track
• Preparing initial drafts of estate planning documents under lawyer supervision
• Assisting with probate applications and deceased estate matters
• Supporting property and commercial matters and documentation
• Delegating appropriate tasks to junior support team members

About You
We’re looking for a genuine career Paralegal – someone who sees this as their profession and enjoys being an integral part of a busy legal practice.

You’ll ideally bring previous experience across Wills & Estates / Succession, Property and/or Commercial Law, together with strong file management and client-facing skills.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, growing team where Paralegals are valued as an important part of the practice rather than simply an administrative resource.

You’ll have plenty of client interaction, autonomy over your workload and the opportunity to work across a varied mix of Succession, Property and Commercial matters, with additional junior support available to delegate to.
