Warehouse/Components Officer

Reporting to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Warehouse/Components Officer to join our team at the Waroona Workshop on a Monday to Friday roster, working 6am to 5pm with a rostered weekend system. You will be responsible for picking orders in the warehouse accurately and efficiently to support site and workshop requirements.

• Dispatching parts and materials to sites, ensuring correct packaging, labelling, and timely loading.
• Putting stock away - receiving incoming goods, checking for damage/accuracy against delivery notes, and storing items in designated locations using safe practices.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties, including stock counts, inventory checks, and supporting maintenance teams as needed

• Current WA Driver's Licence
• Current Forklift Licence (LF)
• Demonstrated experience in a warehouse, stores, or order picking environment
• Ability to safely handle manual tasks, including lifting and moving stock
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Basic numeracy skills for stock counts, measurements, and order accuracy
• Sound knowledge of mechanical components/machinery.

• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
• Familiarity with inventory or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Pronto, Oracle, or similar)
• Experience in tool control or parts inventory environments
• Understanding of warehouse safety and manual handling procedures
• Previous exposure to mining or civil construction environments, including handling heavy components, reman parts, or service exchange items
