About the role

Based in Melbourne, the Insights Lead will champion the voice of the luxury consumer, transforming data and insights into strategies that shape the future growth, innovation and global brand direction of Penfolds. Sitting within the Penfolds Global Marketing team, you'll work across global and regional initiatives, whilst influencing key marketing, investment and planning decisions for one of the world's most iconic luxury wine brands.

• Lead the Penfolds global insights agenda, embedding consumer insights into strategic decision-making.
• Deliver actionable consumer, brand and category insights to support growth and innovation.
• Partner with global, regional and agency stakeholders to drive insight-led outcomes.
• Identify emerging luxury consumer trends and share best-practice insights across the business.
• Review and inform brand health tracking and translate data into clear business recommendations.
• Explore and implement new tools, technologies and AI-enabled approaches to enhance insight generation.

Who we’re looking for  

You're an insights professional who excels at turning consumer, brand and market data into strategic recommendations that drive business growth. You'll bring:

• 5+ years of proven experience in consumer insights, market research or brand strategy.  
• Experience working with premium and luxury remits, ideally with either retail or FMCG brands.
• Strong data analytics capability and expertise interpreting large and complex data sets.  
• Experience working with Kantar tracking, brand health or consumer research programs.
• Confidence presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and executive audiences.  
• Experience managing end-to-end partnerships, brand plan assessment, and external data insights agency relationships.
• The ability to build strong relationships and influence across global teams.  
• A passion for luxury consumer trends, innovation and emerging AI-driven insights tools.
