We are seeking a motivated and caring Enrolled Nurse (1st Year) to join our team at Alexandria Day Hospital.

Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses, you will provide high-quality patient-centred care and contribute to the smooth operation of our clinical services.

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your nursing skills while working in a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering patient-centred care within your scope of practice

• Assisting with patient assessment, monitoring and care planning

• Supporting patients and their families throughout their care journey

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation

• Participating in infection prevention and control activities

• Supporting quality and patient safety initiatives

• Working collaboratively with nursing and multidisciplinary teams

• Participating in ongoing education and professional development

To be successful, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse

• Medication Administration endorsement

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A caring and compassionate approach to patient care

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Previous experience in a hospital, day hospital or perioperative setting is welcomed but not essential.
