Registered Nurse Ophthalmology clinics

Marsden Eye Specialists is a leading Ophthalmology and Refractive Practice with three locations: Parramatta, Penrith and Castle Hill. We are looking for a casual Registered Nurse to join our large growing team that will involve travel to all 3 sites.

Our practice is a fast paced, busy and well established with an accredited day surgery on site allowing us to provide care for all sub specialities of Ophthalmology.

This position is for a Casual Registered Nurse in the medical retinal clinic. This role comprises of clinical and some administrative duties including patient assessment, consenting, cannulation, assisting Drs with patient treatments and assistance with the day to day running of the clinics. You will be reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager Trish Forsyth.

Monday – Friday work is available. With shifts approximately 4-7hrs per day.

No weekend or night shifts!!! Great work-life balance.

The preferred attributes sought after are ones of a meticulous nature, accurate documentation skills and most of all the ability to work as part of an enthusiastic team. Good counselling and communication skills are a must as building relationships and repour with patients is imperative. Previous Ophthalmology experience is preferred but we are prepared to invest in your orientation and training if you have the required attributes.
