In-house Electrician(Solar and Battery)

About the role

You'll join our in-house installation team, delivering residential solar and battery installations across Sydney and surrounding NSW regions. This is a hands-on role covering the full installation process — from rough-in to commissioning — with company vehicle travel to job sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install, wire and commission residential battery energy storage systems and solar PV systems

• Carry out switchboard upgrades, wiring and associated electrical works to AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 5139

• Complete testing, commissioning and compliance documentation (CCEW / relevant certificates)

• Liaise with customers on site and represent SunVault professionally

• Follow SWMS and maintain a safe work site, including safe work at heights

• Travel to installation sites across Sydney and regional NSW as scheduled

About you

• Current NSW Electrical Licence (Qualified Supervisor Certificate or equivalent)

• SAA (Solar Accreditation Australia) accreditation for grid-connected PV and battery storage

• Hands-on experience installing solar PV and/or home battery systems

• Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000; familiarity with AS/NZS 5139 and AS/NZS 4777

• Current driver's licence (manual preferred)

• Working at Heights (or willingness to obtain)

• White Card (General Construction Induction)

• Reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable dealing directly with homeowners
