Are you an Assistant Underwriter / Assistant Relationship Manager or a Credit Analyst within the financial services industry?

Liberty Australia is looking for an Assistant Underwriter to join our Surety Mid-Market team in Sydney.

As part of an exciting new strategy, we are growing our Mid-Market team, focused on supporting clients in the Mid-Market segment. Key responsibilities

Assistant Underwriters support the growth and profitability of Liberty's surety portfolio. Day to day, you'll conduct pre-underwriting, assist with client and broker meetings, and manage the issuance of surety bonds and the associated administration. 

Working closely with the APAC underwriting team, you'll help review existing and new client opportunities in line with Liberty's underwriting appetite. 

Relationships are at the heart of the role. You'll establish and maintain strong connections with brokers and clients, supporting the marketing, sale and training of the Liberty brand and products, and ensuring clients receive a level of underwriting service that sets Liberty apart from its competitors.
