Your new role

In this role, you will provide support to our clients in-home and in the community around Adelaide. You will have experience working with adults and children living with a disability. You will provide support and engage in a wide range of skill and confidence building activities.

• Morning and afternoon shifts

• Passive overnight shifts

• Community access shifts

• Capacity building, meal preparation, some personal care
   

What you will need to succeed

You will need experience as a Disability Support Worker, delivering in-home services to clients with complex needs. You will also have demonstrated experience supporting clients with mental health challenges and behaviors of concern.

You are a dedicated support worker with a positive approach and a genuine commitment to assist individuals reaching their goals and living their best life.
 

Key Requirements

• Previous experience as a Support Worker (or similar) in the health or community services sectors

• Flexibility regarding work hours on a 7-day roster

• Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Disability, Aged Care, Mental Health)

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or

• DCSI*/DHS Working with Children Check

• DCSI*/DHS Child-related Employment Screening

  • *issued before 1st February 2022

• Current First Aid Certificate

• Current Manual Handling Certificate

• Current Visa (if applicable)

• Unrestricted Drivers' Licence, roadworthy vehicle, car registration & insurance
   

Please note: All Support Workers are required to provide evidence of their COVID Vaccination status, as required by the Emergency Management (In-home and Community Aged Care and Disability Support Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) Direction 2021.
