Disability Support Worker

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Best Life Disability Services PTY LTD.

In this vital role, you will provide person-centred support to individuals with a disability, helping them live independently, achieve their goals, and participate fully in their communities. This casual position may include passive overnight supports across the North, West, and Eastern suburbs of Adelaide.

• Supporting clients with daily living activities, including personal care, medication management, and meal preparation

• Providing passive overnight support as required

• Supporting clients experiencing mental health challenges or crisis situations

• Advocating for clients' rights and ensuring their needs are met

• Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes in clients' conditions or behaviours

• Following all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)

• Candidates currently studying Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) will be considered for this position

• Experience supporting people with a disability, including mental health needs

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries while demonstrating compassion and patience

• Willingness to work passive overnight shifts

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

• Current Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle

• NDIS worker screening check is required before commencing employment
