New Vehicle Sales Consultant

Due to continued growth and success, Scarboro Toyota has an exciting opportunity for a motivated New Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our high-performing team.

The Role

As a New Vehicle Sales Consultant, you will guide customers through the vehicle purchasing process while delivering friendly, professional and knowledgeable service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming customers and identifying their vehicle requirements

• Presenting suitable Toyota models and providing knowledgeable advice

• Managing showroom, telephone and online sales enquiries

• Conducting vehicle demonstrations and coordinating test drives

• Following up prospective customers and maintaining accurate records

• Building strong relationships with new and existing customers

• Understanding each customer’s objectives, budget and buying criteria

• Maintaining a high level of Toyota product knowledge

• Following the dealership’s established sales process

• Achieving individual and dealership sales targets and KPIs

• Coordinating vehicle orders and keeping customers informed

• Delivering an exceptional experience from the first enquiry through to vehicle handover

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Strong sales and customer service skills

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

• A proactive and process-driven approach

• The confidence to manage a high volume of enquiries and leads

• The ability to identify and maximize sales opportunities

• Strong organization and follow-up skills

• A genuine commitment to exceeding customer expectations

• A positive attitude and desire to achieve results

• The ability to work effectively within a busy team

• A current driver’s license

• A valid Motor Vehicle Salesperson’s License

Previous automotive sales experience will be highly regarded; however, motivated applicants with strong sales or customer service experience are also encouraged to apply.
