Support Worker

Support Worker – Male | Banyo

We're after a male Support Worker to join our team supporting a male participant in Banyo with complex behaviour, including personal care and daily living support. (This role is restricted to male applicants as the participant has requested a same-gender worker for personal care.)

This role suits someone who takes initiative and thinks on their feet. The participant's needs are complex, and we're after someone who can adapt with grit and confidence, not someone who needs everything mapped out in advance.

You'll need to bring:

• Minimum 3 days availability per week

• Comfortable and confident providing personal care (showering, dressing, toileting support)

• Experience with complex behaviour support, or a strong willingness to learn fast

• Sharp problem-solving skills and the initiative to find ways to engage the participant, even on quiet days

• Thick skin and resilience on the tougher days

• A collaborative mindset, working openly with both management and the participant

• Reliable transport and a valid driver's licence

• Current Blue Card / NDIS Worker Screening

• First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
