SENIOR/INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT – PHARMACY CLIENT BASE – BRISBANE/HYBRID - MID-TIER FIRM - 85K-95K+SUPER (JOB ID 1420)

Our client is a leading network of independent Australian firms, working together to enable growth and ambition for their clients and their people. They are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a dynamic team in Brisbane, providing taxation, financial and business advisory services to pharmacy clients. 

The Role: 

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, GST, FBT, and payroll tax for a diverse range of pharmacy clients 

• Provide business advisory services to help clients with strategic financial planning, restructures and tax planning 

• Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring consistency in high-quality client service 

• Collaborate with Managers and Partners on client engagements, delivering timely and accurate reporting 

• Review and mentor junior accountants, providing guidance on technical and compliance matters 

• Assist in the implementation of efficient processes and best practices to improve client outcomes 

• Support broader business advisory projects and contribute to team knowledge sharing 

About You: 

• CA or CPA qualified with experience in business services or corporate advisory 

• Proven track record working with taxation and accounting for pharmacy or similar private business clients 

• Strong technical knowledge across tax compliance, financial reporting, GST, FBT, and payroll tax 

• Proficient with accounting software (Xero, MYOB or equivalent) and Microsoft Office 

• Excellent communication, organisation and relationship management skills 

• Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and provide mentorship 

• Collaborative and proactive, with a willingness to learn and support team development
