 About the role

• Lead strategic growth and operational performance across 16 operating theatres, Central Sterilising Department (CSD) and associated perioperative services.

• Partner with Hospital Executive, Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) and clinical leaders to drive service innovation, surgical growth and commercial outcomes.

• Shape the future of surgical services through business planning, technology investment and continuous service improvement.

• Influence patient safety, quality and clinical governance by leading accreditation, risk management and operational excellence initiatives.

• Inspire high-performing multidisciplinary teams through coaching, leadership development and a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

 About you

• Five plus years of progressive healthcare management experience with increasing operational leadership responsibility.

• Hold tertiary qualifications in health administration, management, finance or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Demonstrate expertise in clinical governance, risk management, quality improvement and patient safety within a healthcare setting.

• Provide proven experience developing business plans, monitoring KPIs and driving operational and financial performance.

• Lead complex multidisciplinary teams and operational services, with the ability to manage high-volume clinical environments and competing priorities.
