About Us

The Rix Group is a progressive specialist contractor who leads the way in managing challenging and diverse ground engineering projects. We provide a multitude of ground stabilisation & ground support methodologies including piling, shotcrete (Inc gunite), rock bolting, soil nails & ground anchors.

The Role – permanent full-time

Due to our current operational requirements and sustained growth, our Sydney Piling division are recruiting for experienced Piling Rig Operators.

Requirements: 

• Experience in operating up to 100 tonne rigs

• Experience in piling walls, foundation piling, sheet piling  

• Experience of using other on-site machinery is beneficial

• Hold current & valid construction tickets

• White card

Duties & Tasks

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you demonstrate the following;

• The Operation of Piling Rigs

• Assisting the Piling Crews

• Maintaining the productivity rate

• Cleaning and general maintenance of piling rigs

• Working to site plans

• Occasional Offsiding

• A background within the Ground Engineering Piling sector

• Team player

• Positive attitude

• Sound knowledge of safety regulations in Australia, have a strong safety focus and be able to execute the work in full compliance with safety rules and regulations.

• Effective communication skills

• Reliable

Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
