The opportunity

Reporting to the Corporate HR Manager, the Advisor HR Systems will provide timely and quality systems support to the HR team and boarder business.  This includes scoping, implementation and optimisation of internal HR systems and processes to ensure accurate, consistent and efficient HR processes.

This is a permanent full-time role based at our West Perth office, conveniently located near the City West train station.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation, optimisation and continuous improvement of HR systems and processes.
• Act as the subject matter expert for HR information systems, providing guidance, coaching and support to HR and business leaders.
• Maintain accurate core HR data and deliver HR analytics, reporting and automated solutions.
• Research, develop, improve and communicate HR processes and manage change management.
• Prepare data and communicate insights for WGEA, Aon and other HR reporting requirements.
• Support remuneration and benefits activities, including salary analysis, remuneration reviews, bonus schemes and related policies.
• Contribute to the design and rollout of HR process improvements that enhance efficiency, engagement and business outcomes.
• Provide HR support to the HR team along with generalist advice and interpretation on HR policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate strong communication, influencing, analytical and spreadsheet skills, with high attention to detail.

About you

• Tertiary qualified in HR/Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in an HR role with generalist HR and specialist experience in HRIS management
• Knowledge of employment legislation, HR organisational policies, practices and best practice
• Advanced analytical skills, including experience with MS Power BI
• Experience in system implementation, management, integrations and system optimisation
• High level of familiarity with remuneration data, consolidation and analysis
• Experience with Aon HCA data and WGEA reporting highly regarded
• Experience within the mining and resources sector highly regarded
