About you
You will bring sound financial knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. You are comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve accurate and timely outcomes.
You will have:
A bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related discipline; or a diploma-level qualification supported by extensive relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in financial operations, ideally within a not-for-profit or community services environment.
Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
Experience preparing and monitoring budgets and completing funding acquittals.
An understanding of reconciliations, reporting, audit processes and regulatory compliance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
The ability to prepare clear reports and support funding submissions.
A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
A commitment to continuous improvement and ongoing professional development.
Knowledge of basic human resources processes, including recruitment administration, recordkeeping and employee credential management, would also be advantageous.
