About the role
Food Manufacturing I Quality Assurance / Full-Time
Are you someone who takes pride In their work and has an eye for the finest detail? If so, we may have the perfect opportunity for you as our new QA Coordinator. In this role, you will be one of the final checkpoints ensuring the quality of our products before they reach our customers. • Conduct daily GMP walkthroughs of the production facility and warehouses and carry out QA checks on production lines.
• Handle customer complaints, implement quality control policies, conduct internal audits, and coordinate training requirements for production staff.
• Assess shelf life, identify faults throughout the production process, and ensure adherence to relevant legislative requirements.
• Analyse near-finished product samples daily for quality, durability, safety and compliance with product specifications prior to final production.
• Evaluate materials, the work environment and production components by running quality tests; working knowledge of allergens is highly regarded.
• Report to the Quality Assurance Manager on customer or in-house product quality or performance issues, investigating all relevant stages of production.
• Document quality assurance practices, including logbook entries, database records and verification activities, and verify production QC check sheets daily.
• Ensure products meet all federal, state and local regulatory guidelines throughout the production schedule.
• Communicate with management and the QA Manager when issues arise, offering solutions to correct manufacturing errors.
• Periodically review quality assurance strategies to identify best practices and improvements that reduce production issues and interruptions.
• Support the new product development process, including recipe and sample development, sensory assessment, external laboratory analysis, and documentation for product launches.
• Organise retention samples daily, conduct finished product assessments, and carry out system validation and verification activities.
• Conduct regular internal and GMP audits.
• Adhere to and help maintain the Quality Manual, updating procedures and delivering staff training as required.

The ideal candidate is determined to learn and gain further exposure to managing the quality of all outgoing materials and products, as well as production procedures, while upholding GFSI SQF audit standards, ACO and RSPO requirements. You wlll have:
• A minimum of 5+ years' experience In food manufacturing or quality management.
• High attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
• A strong working knowledge of quality control principles and tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency In Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• A flexible, adaptable and logical approach to tasks and problem-solving.
