Warehouse Storeperson/LF Operator

Link Labor Hire is seeking two experienced Storepersons with current LF Forklift Licences to join the Despatch team within a busy automotive parts distribution centre in Lidcombe.

These positions will primarily work within Despatch, supporting the accurate and timely movement of outgoing orders. However, the successful candidates will also be required to assist in other areas of the Distribution Centre as operational needs arise.

This is a hands-on role suited to reliable and flexible warehouse professionals who are comfortable combining forklift operation with general storeperson and despatch duties.

Shift Times

Position 1: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Position 2: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day despatch and general warehouse duties
• Prepare, check and stage orders for despatch
• Pick, pack and process outgoing automotive parts and accessories
• Operate an LF forklift safely and efficiently as required
• Load, unload and move stock within the Distribution Centre
• Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to process and track stock
• Check orders, quantities, labels and relevant despatch documentation for accuracy
• Assist with receiving, put-away and stock replenishment when required
• Identify and report damaged stock, discrepancies or incorrect orders
• Maintain accurate stock movements and warehouse records
• Assist other operational areas of the Distribution Centre when required
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Follow site procedures and all WHS requirements
• Perform other reasonable warehouse duties as directed by supervisors

About You

To be considered for these positions, you will need:

• A current Australian LF Forklift Licence
• Previous experience as a Storeperson, Warehouse Operator or Dispatch Operator
• Demonstrated experience operating an LF forklift
• Previous despatch and general warehouse experience
• Experience with RF scanning and warehouse systems
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on order accuracy
• Confidence working across different areas of a Distribution Centre
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy warehouse environment
• Physical capability to undertake manual handling and general warehouse duties
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

Previous experience within automotive parts, spare parts, logistics or a high-volume distribution centre would be advantageous.

What We're Looking For

These are not forklift-only positions. While a current LF licence and confident forklift operation are essential, the primary focus will be supporting the Despatch operation and carrying out general storeperson duties.

We are looking for candidates who are flexible, reliable and willing to assist across the Distribution Centre when required, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy and productivity.

Immediate availability is highly preferred, with an ASAP start required.

Pay: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour
