About the role
As a result of an internal transfer we are seeking a Rostering Officer to join our team in our Head Office located at Taperoo. As a Rostering Officer you will play an important role in ensuring quality support services are delivered to our customers.
This is a key customer service role, you will be building relationships as you coordinate and schedule the delivery of services using our team of Gratis Community Support Workers. You will be the point of contact for our team of Support Workers, as well as customers.

Key responsibilities of the role:
Managing rosters to ensure all client services are scheduled, including confirmation calls, short notice placements, changes and cancellations
Intermediate/Advanced computer skills are required for managing rostering systems
Provide administrative support to the People and Culture function as required
Ensure rostering is completed in advance, taking into consideration prebooked leave and new/exiting customers
Liaising with customers, Support Workers and other service providers by phone/email
Providing support and direction to Community Support Workers to ensure a quality service is provided to the clients they support
Monitoring and maintaining Support Worker compliance documentation
Who we are looking for:
Working hours 11am - 7pm Monday - Friday
Strong customer service skills – someone who is friendly, empathetic and has a positive attitude
Multi-tasking superstar – you will be happy to work in a fast paced work environment
Problem solving skills – the ability to think outside of the box and offer options to our clients
Previous experience in a rostering or finance/accounts role would be advantageous - experience in a similar role is not essential, as on the job training is provided. Proficient/bilingual in Greek or Italian and English would be highly regarded but not essential.
