About the role
As a Supervisor - Conveyor Pulleys & Magnetic Separators at Camco, you’ll play a crucial part in leading a team of highly skilled Mechanical Fitters and Trade Assistants workshop in Canning Vale.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?
· Australian recognised trade qualification - Mechanical Fitter
· Proven experience in Fixed Plant maintenance (minimum 5 years post trade)
· Proven experience in a supervisory role (minimum 12 months)
· Great client interaction skills
· Ability to work both day and night shifts, depending on service requirements
· Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
· Proficiency with computers and the Microsoft Suite
YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
· Review, as required, progress of jobs against estimated labour and material requirements
· Collaborate with project managers to deliver job scopes
· Provide guidance to team members, monitor performance, and address challenges proactively
· Mentor employees, including apprentices while promoting a culture of safety and excellence
· Participate in interviewing new personnel and building a high-performing workshop team
· Coordinate inspections and testing with N.D.T. personnel where applicable, to organise required inspections and tests
· Comply with QA/QC procedures and maintain production documents
· Maintain production documents and ensure manufacturing meets engineering specifications
· Lead by example to meet company and statutory safety requirements at all times
