UniActive Front Desk - Customer Service Coordinator

UniActive supports our community at every step of their fitness journey. Our facilities and services cater for beginners through to elite athletes. UniActive provides access to a 50m heated swimming pool, extensive sporting facilities and ovals, swim school programs, and two state-of-the-art gyms across our UOW Wollongong Campus and Innovation Campus locations.

About you 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and customer-focused full-time Customer Service Coordinator to join the UniActive team. As the face of UniActive, you will provide exceptional front desk service to members, students and visitors while supporting the day-to-day operations of our facilities.

You will be working closely with the Finance & Facilities Manager and Membership Coordinator and will oversee the roster and timesheets for the Customer Service Officer team and take the lead role in training new and existing team members on front reception systems and procedures. 

In addition, you will have

• Experience in a customer service environment
• A strong service orientation with a vibrant and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence working towards team or individual sales and membership targets
• Strong administration and computer skills, including the ability to learn new systems and databases
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to operational issues
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Working With Children Check, or ability to obtain.
• The ability to build strong and positive relationships with members, students and the broader community.
