Clinical Lead Radiologist

Vision Radiology is owned and operated by subspecialised radiologists: 26 clinics across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, independent and non-corporate. We’re looking for a Clinical Lead Radiologist for our Reservoir clinic, a clinic collocated within Reservoir Private Hospital, someone who wants a real say in how a site runs while keeping a broad clinical workload and a subspecialty interest.

You’re the senior clinical lead at Reservoir. In practice that means:

•    Setting the standard for reporting and imaging quality across the site

•    Being first call for radiologists, radiographers and sonographers on clinical and workflow questions

•    Shaping protocols, examination allocation and patient flow with the technical and administration teams

•    Owning clinical governance, quality assurance and patient safety at site level

•    Building strong relationships with local referrers

•    A direct line to Vision Radiology management on staffing, operations and growth

The rest of your week is clinical: general X-ray, ultrasound, CT and cardiac CT, MRI, 3D mammography, DEXA and interventional work, with room to keep developing your subspecialty interest.

•    FRANZCR, current AHPRA registration and a current Victorian Radiation Use Licence

•    Confident with basic ultrasound- and CT-guided musculoskeletal and spinal interventions

•    Subspecialty in one of the following is desired: breast imaging, body, or musculoskeletal

•    Approachable, organised, and clear under pressure
