Spill the Beans @ Seascapes are seeking multiple hospitality roles within the café. We are a very busy beach side café looking for experienced hospitality workers to join the team before summer. Spill the Beans @ Seascapesis located in Halls Head WA 6210. These are casual roles but can become permeant for the right candidate. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional breakfast experiences and beverages to our guests, contributing directly to their dining satisfaction and the overall success of our establishment. This position combines culinary skills, barista expertise, and customer service in a dynamic seaside setting.

Key responsibilities

Chef/Cook

• Prepare and cook a variety of Breakfast/Lunch dishes including egg cookery, grill operation, baking, food prep and cabinet food preparation

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and service areas in compliance with food safety regulations

• Stock and replenish food preparation areas

• Ensure all dishes are presented to a high standard and in a timely manner

• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and dietary requirements

• Collaborate with head chef on weekly specials and seasonal menus

Barista/ Café All Rounder

• Prepare consistently high quality coffee and beverages

• Providing amazing high energy customer service

• Supporting and motivating all team members

• Jumping in each station when needed throughout your shift

What we're looking for

• Prior experience working as a Chef/Cook, or in a similar kitchen role within a hospitality setting

• Demonstrated barista experience with a solid understanding of espresso-based drinks and coffee preparation techniques

• Food Safety Supervisor certification and RSA or willingness to obtain it

• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards

• Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment

• Friendly, professional demeanor with genuine passion for customer service

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Flexibility to work casual shifts including early mornings, weekends, and peak holiday periods

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures
