About the role

Join the vibrant team at Bay Café as a Breakfast Chef. This casual role is based in our beautiful coastal location in Mandurah, Western Australia. As our Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of delicious breakfast dishes to delight our customers and set them up for a great day.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and cook a varied menu of breakfast dishes including hot meals, cold items, and baked goods

• Ensure all dishes are presented to a high standard and in a timely manner

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment

• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver excellent customer service

• Assist with stock management and inventory control

• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry

• Strong knowledge of breakfast menu preparation and cooking techniques

• Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle a fast-paced environment

• A keen eye for detail and commitment to high standards of food presentation

• Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to a positive kitchen culture

• Food safety and hygiene certification
