About Us
The Department of Justice and Community Safety delivers high-quality services to Victorians and supports a safe, just, innovative and thriving Victoria.
Civil and Enforcement Services (CES) is a business unit within the Justice Services and Regulation group and comprises Fines and Enforcement Services (FES) and Adoption Services Victoria. FES is responsible for managing the end-to-end infringement system in Victoria and providing a range of enforcement services administered by the Director, Fines Victoria and the Director, Sheriff's Office Victoria (Sheriff of Victoria).
Sheriff's Office Victoria (SOV) is a branch within FES and provides strategic direction, professional standards and operational support and management of statewide sheriff's officers.
What You Will Do
As Enablement Lead, you will lead technology projects across civil and enforcement services. You will turn data, AI and digital tools into useful solutions.
You Will
lead practical AI solutions, including chatbots, data tools and automated workflowsplan clear changes, processes, training and user guidance for new systemsdeliver projects, research data and turn findings into useful improvementstrack real savings and service gains from technology and process changescheck systems meet legal, privacy and security needs while supporting branch work.
About You
No mandatory qualification is listed for this role. A relevant tertiary degree or similar experience would be desirable.
You Should Also Have
project leadership skills and experience applying laws, policies and procedurestechnical expertise in AI, automation and digital workflow solutionsstrong knowledge of data, privacy, security and governance in operational settingsclear communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to adapt under pressure.
