At SKIDATA, we’re leaders in cutting-edge access solutions, and we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our Field Service Operations team in NSW. If you have a passion for technology, enjoy solving problems, and want to play a key role in keeping our systems running smoothly, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
Technical Service & Maintenance: Deliver timely repairs, preventative maintenance, and fault diagnosis on SKIDATA equipment and sites.
Installation & Commissioning: Install, configure, and commission new access systems across NSW, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Administration: Accurately complete work orders, installation documentation, warranty forms, and parts management in ServiceNow.
Customer Support: Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, providing technical advice and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
OHS & Professionalism: Maintain high standards of safety, presentation, and equipment upkeep, while identifying and reporting hazards promptly.
In this role, you’ll be hands-on, supporting clients across multiple sites, while contributing to the quality and reliability that SKIDATA is known for globally.
2–3 years’ experience in a service, maintenance, or installation role.
Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Advanced Electronics (or working towards one).
Strong computer literacy and programming skills.
Solid problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A customer-focused mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
