Dental Assistant & Receptionist | Join Our Growing Team

We are looking for an experienced, friendly and motivated Dental Assistant & Receptionist to join our growing dental practice.

About the Role

This is a part-time position with rotating shifts Monday to Saturday. Weekend availability is preferred, but not essential.

The role is a combination of clinical dental assisting and reception, including:

• Assisting the dentist across a range of dental procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring surgeries are well organised
• Maintaining high standards of infection prevention, control and sterilisation
• Cleaning, processing and sterilising instruments
• Providing a welcoming and positive experience for every patient
• Managing patient appointments, enquiries and phone calls
• Supporting front-desk and general reception duties
• Processing payments and assisting with patient administration
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Using practice management software and other digital systems
• Working closely with the dental team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the dental industry
• Confidence assisting across a variety of dental procedures
• A strong understanding of infection control and sterilisation protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A warm, friendly and professional manner
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• A reliable, proactive and positive attitude
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Confidence using technology and practice management software
• A genuine passion for providing high-quality patient care
