What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be right in the action, learning end-to-end payroll in a fast-paced, high-volume environment:
Assist with weekly payroll processing (Workday Payroll)Maintain employee data — new starters, changes, terminationsWork with Time & Attendance data (LIFELENZ)Get exposure to complex payroll calculations:Annual, personal, parental & long service leaveWorkers compensationSupport month-end and year-end payroll activitiesInterpret Awards & EBAs (and actually understand them, not just tick boxes)Handle payroll queries via email, phone & JIRAAssist with reconciliations (super, payroll tax, YTD)Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements
What You Bring
1–3 years payroll experience (high-volume is a bonus)Basic understanding of payroll legislation, tax, Awards/EBAsStrong attention to detail (you spot what others miss)Confident communicator — written & verbalTeam player who can juggle priorities with the right attitude
Bonus Points If You Have
Exposure to Workday or similar HRIS/payroll systemsPayroll qualifications (Cert/Diploma)Excel skills — formulas, pivots, data handling
