Estimator

We are currently partnering with a well-established construction group as they expand into the Sydney market, seeking a Junior Estimator to play a key role in their growing operation.

Based in the inner-southern suburbs of Sydney, this position will see you involved in the pricing and tendering of complex building and infrastructure projects, often delivered within live, operational, and highly regulated environments. Projects typically range from $1M to $100M+, with a core focus on the $8M–$30M range.

The Role:

• Assist with the preparation of estimates and tender submissions
• Support the pricing of alterations, refurbishments, upgrades, and brownfield projects
• Obtain and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Assist with quantity take-offs, cost planning, and tender documentation
• Help identify project risks and opportunities during the tender process
• Work closely with senior estimators and project teams to develop accurate, competitive bids

About You:

• 1–3 years' experience in an estimating or cadet/junior estimating role within construction
• Relevant construction qualification or currently completing one
• Strong attention to detail with good numerical and analytical skills
• Eager to learn and develop your estimating career within a growing business
• Confident using Microsoft Excel, with exposure to estimating software being an advantage
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
