Quality Assurance - Casual (Hay Season)

Balco Australia Pty Ltd is a major supplier of hay and straw products to international markets. In preparation for the coming hay season, we are now seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our field team based at Balaklava.

Reporting to the Field Administrator, you will predominantly be responsible for the following:

·        Preparing and testing hay samples as per Balco Quality Assurance standards

·        General Lab/computer work (Grinding, NIR feed-testing, Nitrate testing)

May also be required to assist with:

·        Data entry and general administration tasks

·        Assisting the field team as required

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate a competent level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office), and be able to work extended hours during peak period including weekend work.

The successful person will need to possess the following:

·        A good work ethic

·        Excellent time management

·        Good attention to detail

·        Work well in a team environment

·        Sound communication skills

·        Work in warm and dusty environments

Relevant training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Available to start mid-to-late September through to end December.
