In this role you will be working on new and used vehicles, delivering high-quality paint finishes to the highest standards.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable trade qualified Automotive Painter to join our expanding team.  You must be Automotive Refinishing Technology trade qualified

As a vehicle painter you are critical in maintaining a quality finish and an efficient workflow.  Your responsibilities include but will not be limited to: 

• Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, cleaning, and filling to achieve a smooth, paint-ready finish

• Surface preparation including priming, buffing and denibbing as per job sheet,

• Apply primer coats and base/clear coat finishes using spray equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications

• Inspect finished work for quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company specifications

• be able to work productively and efficiently with limited supervision.

• Maintain a clean and organised work area, including proper disposal of waste materials

• Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment

Is this for you? We are looking for 

• trade qualified with relevant and proven experience as spray painter within the automotive industry. With a strong understanding of all aspects of surface prep and Spray painting methods

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high quality finish

• Reliable, punctual, trustworthy with good time management skills,

• Handle all vehicles with due care and attention,

• Hold a valid Open Australian Drivers Licence with the ability to drive a manual

• Have full Australian work rights,

• Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team,

• Be able to pass medical and police checks if and when required
